The Tanzania Institute Of Education (TIE) is a government institute under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, established under Act No. 13 of 1975 (CAP 142 RE 2002). Its basic mandate is to interpret Government policies on education into appropriate curricula, curriculum support materials, and programs aiming at facilitating the provision of quality education at pre-primary, primary, secondary, and teacher education levels

GENERAL CONDITIONS
An applicant must be a Public Servant with a check number; Applicants must attach an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable contact information; postal address/post code, e-mail and telephone numbers;
Applicants must attach certified copies of the following: –
- Birth certificate;
- Letter of current designation;
- Masters/Postgraduate/Bachelor/Advanced Diploma/ Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates;
- Professional Registration and Training Certificates from Respective Registration or Regulatory Bodies (where applicable);
An applicant must attach recent Passport Size Photo (coloured); An applicant must have at least three years working experience in the field An applicant employed in the Public Service should route his/her application letter through his/her respective employer; An applicant should indicate three reputable referees with their reliable contacts;
Certificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA). Professional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions should be verified by The Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) respectively; A signed application letter should be written in English and addressed to:
