Internal Audit Assistant at Bakhresa Group
Job Location: Plant/Corporate Office, United Republic of Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding the internal control framework.
• Utilizing a risk-based approach to perform financial, operational, IT audits, etc.
• Documenting results of testing through work papers.
• Interacting with people at various levels.
• Applying textbook methodologies to real-world scenarios.
• Working alongside peer auditors to carry out the audit plan.
• Verifying compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Identifying and documenting audit findings, issuing reports with practical recommendations.
• Participating in the preparation of various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and procedures.
• Assisting in following up on prior audit recommendations.
• Performing other applicable duties as required based on knowledge and skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualification: undergoing CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.

• Strong personality with a convincing attitude.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing.
• Ability to work independently and report to the Group’s Internal Auditor.
