POSITION: Relationship Manager INSTITUTIONAL BANKING & PUBLIC SECTOR

LOCATION: Head Office KIJITONYAMA

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Role and Responsibilities

• Perform political, economic, social and technological (PEST) analysis to identify emerging opportunities and risks
• Responsible for asset and liability management for the UBA Tanzania by driving deposit mobilization as well as loan portfolio

• Ensure maximum activity on customers’ accounts

• Responsible for relationship management within UBA Tanzania

• Develop periodic performance reports

• Ensure business directives and initiatives from management are well dis seminated across the country
• Ensure the achievement of agreed targets in terms of deposit and risk asset mobilization

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• Budgeted target versus actual target

• Revenue growth

• Market share growth

• Volume of business – deposits and loans/facilities

• Adherence to policies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree is compulsory; a Masters’ degree and/or a professional qualification is added advantage.

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, credit analysis, relationship management with at least 3 years in PSG & Institutional banking

KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge

• Broad knowledge of the global macroeconomy and its dynamics

• Deep knowledge of UBA’s products and services

• Deep understanding of the value

• Good Relationship management

• Excellent Communication skills — oral, and written.
