Nafasi za kazi Ubungo Municipal Council

The Director of the Ubungo Municipal Council has received an Approval for Replacement Employment from the Chief Secretary OR – Service with Reference No. FA. 228/613/01/D/040 dated 09.07.2024. Therefore, he wishes to announce to all qualified Tanzanians to submit applications for one (1) position as outlined below:

1. RECORDS ASSISTANT GRADE II – 1 POSITION

Listing incoming letters in the registry (incoming correspondence register); Listing outgoing letters from the institution in the registry (outgoing correspondence register); Receiving files returned to the registry from officers; Retrieving records/documents/files required by officers; Returning files to the racks/filling cabinets or other storage locations; Tracking the circulation of files within the institution (file tracking).

APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS

Must be a holder of a Certificate of Secondary Education or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with a Diploma or NTA level 6 in Records Management from a government-recognized institution, with computer skills.

SALARY SCALE: In accordance with Government Salary Scales – TGS C.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS

All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45. All applicants should attach a copy of their birth certificate. The applicant’s letter should show the current address and phone number along with:

Copies of academic certificates. Copies of certificates verified by a Lawyer/Advocate, including Form Four, Form Six, and other relevant certificates. A detailed CV with addresses and reachable phone numbers, and names of three reliable referees. Two recent passport-size photos.

Ubungo Municipal Council Vacancies

National ID or National Identification Number (NIDA). Applicants previously convicted of a criminal offense will not be considered. “Testimonies”, “Provisional Results”, and “Statement of Results” slips for Form IV and Form VI WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).

Applicants who were retired/dismissed from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have approval from the Chief Secretary. Submission of false information and qualifications will lead to legal action. Applicants with qualifications beyond those mentioned above will not be considered.

The deadline for submitting job applications is August 9, 2024. IMPORTANT: Remember to attach your signed application letter along with educational certificates, and address the letter to: The Director of Municipality
