The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of the Regional Secretariats and the Local Government Authorities, invites job applications from qualified and capable Tanzanians to fill 9483 positions as specified in this announcement.

General Conditions:

i. All candidates, with the exception of those who are currently employed by the government, must be nationals of Tanzania and no older than 45. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should specify their disability in the employment application system for the information of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.

ii. All applicants must attach a certified birth certificate by a Lawyer/Advocate. Applicants who are already public servants and have gained qualifications in a different cadre than they currently hold should submit their job application letters through their employers, and the employers must be satisfied accordingly.

iii. Applicants should attach a comprehensive detailed CV with reliable addresses and phone numbers along with the names of three reliable referees.All applications should be accompanied by academic certificates, statements, and certified copies of certificates by a Lawyer/Advocate, including:

• Birth certificates
• Form Four and Form Six certificates for those who reached that level
• Certificates of completion of various training programs, considering the specific job qualifications (Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificates)
• Form IV and Form VI examination certificates
• Computer Certificate
• Professional certificates from respective boards

iv. “Testimonials,” “Provisional Results,” “Statement of results,” Form IV and Form VI results slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).

v. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless they have the approval of the Chief Secretary. Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions within the Public Service should not apply and must adhere to the instructions in Circular No CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.

vi. Submission of false information and forged credentials will result in legal action. The deadline for job applications is July 20, 2024. IMPORTANT: Remember to attach your signed job application letter along with educational certificates. Address your application letter to:
